Welcome to Live Figure Sculpting

figure sculpting class in San Francisco

Classes Taught through Fort Mason Artists a Non-profit dedicated to bringing back the Art to San Francisco

Looking for a figure sculpting class in San Francisco?
Well, look no further!

There is nothing more satisfying, challenging and revealing as sculpting a live model.

As far back as we can go in human history to find artistic expression, there is always the depiction of the human form.

Experiencing the artistic take on what it is to be human, is visceral and immediate, both in creating the art object and viewing it.

Class Setting:

  • Classes are in the evening from 6:15 pm to 10:15 pm

  • Model poses from 6:45 pm to 9:45 pm

  • All skill levels welcome

  • Work independently or with instruction and demos

  • A variety of clays are available in class for purchase

  • Location: MPIC - Glen Park

  • Bring own materials and tools

  • Some basic materials and tools are available in class

  • Model fee payable first day of class or during registration
